Confidentiality and security are fundamental values for the Friends of Rimkieta Foundation, so we take seriously our commitment to guarantee at all times the users’ privacy, and we don’t gather unnecessary information.  In what follows, we explain everything you need to know about our Privacy Policy, with regard to the personal information we collect, explaining:

2. Purpose, authentication and storage of data processing sent by the following media:

• DONATION FORMS
  • Purpose: Managing your donation to the Foundation and keeping you informed of our activities, including by electronic media, if you check the acceptance box.
  • Authentication: The user’s consent when providing his or her information on our donation form and checking the box allowing us to send information.
  • Storage: Until the user expresses his/her wish to “unsubscribe” from the mailing list, or for as long as the law provides.

• E-MAILINGS
  • Purpose: Answering your requests for information, attending to your requests and responding to your questions.
  • Authentication: The user’s consent when asking us for information through our e-mail address.
  • Storage:Until such time as the user’s question has been answered by e-mail, if no further relationship has been initiated.

Providing us with personal information and the consequences of not doing so..

You must be 13 years old to provide personal information, or as the case may be, you must have sufficient legal capacity to enter into a contract.
The personal data requested is necessary to manage your requests and/or provide the services you may contract. Therefore, if you do not provide the information, we will be unable to attend to you properly or to give you the service you have requested.

3. Recipients of your information

Your data is confidential and will not be shared with third parties, except when required by law.

4. Rights associated with your personal data

• Anyone may withdraw his or her consent at any time, if the consent was given personally. The withdrawal of consent will under no circumstances condition the execution of the subscription contract or relationship entered into previously.  Be that as it may, the user may exercise the following rights:
• Request access to his/her personal information or their correction if they are incorrect.
• Request their elimination, when, among other things, the information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
• Object to the handling of his/her data for reasons related to his/her individual circumstances.
• Request the transfer of his/her data in such cases as are addressed by the regulations in force.
• Other rights recognized by the applicable law.

Where and how to request your rights:  By writing to the responsible party by e-mail or post (see Annex A), indicating “Personal Data” as the subject, and specifying which right you want to exercise with respect to which data. 

In cases of difference of opinion with the Foundation with regard to the handling of your data, you may present a complaint to the Data Protection Authority (www.agpd.es).

5. Cookies

This web page uses only technical cookies  – our own and external (Google Analytics) for personalizing and analyzing.  They never involve personal data nor register search habits for publicity purposes.

For this purpose, when you entered our web, in compliance with Article 22 of the Information Society Services Law, we requested your consent for the use of analytic cookies and we provided information about them, which in any case would go into effect only after a reasonable time during which the user could decide whether or not to give his/her consent.

6. Security of personal information

In order to protect the security of your personal information, we inform you that we have adopted all technical and organizational measures necessary to guaranteeing that the personal data you have provided will be safe from alteration, loss, or unauthorized handling or access. 

7. Updating data

It is important that you inform us whenever your personal data changes so that we can maintain it up-to-date.  If you do not do so we cannot be responsible for its veracity.

We are not responsible for the privacy policy with respect to the personal data that you may give to third parties through links available on our website. 

The present Privacy Policy may be modified to adapt it to changes on our website, or changes in legislation or law that come up in relation to personal data.  Therefore it should be read every time you give us your data on this website.

Recipients: No transfer to third parties is contemplated, except when required by law.
